New Mini Course: for yoga teachers struggling to help students with wrist pain and want a solution.
.
Twelve years ago, I decided I needed a simpler way to help yoga students with wrist pain!
.
I had many students complain of wrist pain and I kept trying to figure out what was wrong with their wrists. That meant that I was spending too much time after class. That was stressful because, if I am being honest, I felt like I couldn’t really figure out what was going on.
.
Sure, I had a physical therapy background, but I could not do a full evaluation - I was in the role of a yoga teacher! I was feeling overwhelmed.
I did my best to figure out what could be going on with their wrists, but I couldn't actually know. 🥴 Honestly, I was missing the most common cause of wrist pain in yoga!
.
Once I figured out the most common cause of wrist pain in yoga something happened: I realized I could use clear anatomy informed cues to stop the wrist pain!
.
.
😎 1 year later, I heard less complaints about wrist pain and I had a simple & effective response if someone had wrist pain.
💕 2 years later, I started training yoga teachers what to look out for and how to help students avoid wrist pain.
🔥 10 years later, I developed online yoga courses and now yoga teachers tell me they can help students avoid wrist pain AND they know what to if a student does have wrist pain.
.
.
What is crazy is that myself and so many yoga teachers thought they needed to use or have the anatomy knowledge of a physical therapist or doctor.
The secret is really in knowing a little bit of anatomy and the right cues to use.
.
You don't need a medical degree or healthcare background. You, too, can learn simple cues & anatomy needed to really help your students.
.
.
