Shoulder Anatomy Workshop

This workshop is for yoga students and teachers who want to get better at practicing and teaching chaturanga and other weight bearing postures such as downward facing dog.

You will understand the biomechanics of the shoulder and what alignment cues to use to create ease and prevent injury.

Practicing and teaching chaturanga shouldn’t be a struggle or something to avoid.

This workshop will leave you feeling strong, knowledgeable, and at play with chaturanga and other postures where shoulder alignment is important.

Experienced yoga teacher/trainer, doctorate of physical therapy, and anatomy professor having taught yoga anatomy all over the world since 2012.  

Through years of experience, I’ve worked with thousands of yoga studets and teachers who struggle with chaturanga!

Let's face it, chaturanga is a challenging and complicated posture. It deserves it's own workshop which is why I created this one!

Drawing on my experiences as a physical therapist (physiotherapist), anatomy professor, and yoga teacher trainer, I’ve developed a system of learning anatomy and applying it to yoga practice and teaching. This system sets yoga students up to practice safe, pain-free, and empowering yoga!

In this workshop, I will breakdown the anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder and teach you how to align your body to ensure your shoulders are strong and not getting injured.

You will leave feeling newly empowered in your understanding of your own body and have a whole new experience of chaturanga that will leave you inspired to keep practicing it!
